Anonymised decisions are now available to search via the 'Decisions Database' link on the homepage of this website.
March 2007
The President intends in due course to publish decisions. These decisions will be published in such a way as to protect the anonymity of the child or young person concerned. It is intended that they will be published electronically within an area of this website. This will not take place until a reasonable body of decisions are available.

Commencement of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004. As of this date the Additional Support Needs Tribunals for Scotland can now accept references from parents or young people.

Commencement of Section 17 of the 2004 Act, bringing the Additional Support Needs Tribunals for Scotland into being.

The Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004 places a duty on the President to prepare a report, to be submitted to the Scottish Ministers, each year on the work of the Tribunals during the preceding year from 1 April to 31 March. The President has now submitted her report for 2006/2007 to the Scottish Ministers. You can download a PDF copy of that report by
clicking on this link. This report covers the first full operational year for the Tribunals and it will be of interest to all Tribunal users and those involved with children and young people with additional support needs.
