We are the tribunal administration and we exist to serve the Additional Support Needs Tribunals for Scotland. Apart from at the hearing itself, the tribunal administration is the point of contact for parents, education authorities and anyone else with an interest in the tribunal.
In respect of each reference received, the tribunal administration will work with the President in allocating particular individuals from the panels of conveners and members to form a Tribunal to deal with the case. A Tribunal usually comprises one convener and two members (there are exceptional circumstances where a Tribunal may be smaller). We use "Tribunal" (with a capital T) to refer to convener and members dealing with a particular case.
