The administrative support for the Additional Support Needs Tribunals for Scotland is now provided by the Scottish Tribunals Service, a delivery unit of the Scottish Government. Further details of the Scottish Tribunals Service can be found at http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/justice/legal/Tribunals This change does not affect the judicial independence of this Tribunal or other Tribunals that are now being supported in this way.
The Additional Support Needs Tribunals for Scotland has taken on responsibility for the Disability Discrimination Jurisdiction for pupils with disabilities within Education from 18th March. Fifth Annual Report
Fifth Annual Report of the President of the Additional Support Needs Tribunals for Scotland is now available to download.

The Education (Additional Support for Learning)(Scotland) Act 2004 places a duty on the President to prepare a report, to be submitted to the Scottish Ministers, each year on the work of the Tribunals during the preceding year from 1 April to 31 March.
A Tribunal User Group (TUG) event was held on 19 November in The Dome, New Register House, Edinburgh. The Report on this event can be found in Publications.
Revised Reference Form
There are now two ways in which you can submit a reference:
- This form can be printed, completed by hand and posted to our office.
Access the reference form. - Alternatively, the reference form can now be completed online and sent directly to our inbox, inquiries@asntscotland.gov.uk At the moment it is necessary to save the form when you have completed it and then email it from your own email address. We hope to have a direct email link in the near future. A reference that is submitted electronically will normally be accepted without the appellant's signature.

If you are unable to complete the form online or do not have access to a printer, we can still issue printed copies of the reference form as before. Anyone requiring a printed copy should call our helpline on 0845 120 2906.
